Independent fashion incubator.

LIGNES DE FUITE is an independent fashion incubator based in Montréal. Founded by fashion designer and educator Milan Tanedjikov, it supports designers in developing a practice and keeping it in motion: making collections, presenting work and connecting with markets.

LDF received the 2026 CAFA Fashion Impact Award. Milan supported Hannah Rose Dalton and Steven Raj Bhaskaran of Matières Fécales during their early development. Rooted in Montréal, LDF maintains connections to Toronto, Paris and Hong Kong.

Mentoring supports technically autonomous designers building creative and business foundations. Designers in Residence have an active practice and need a stable professional base. Collaborators bring creative, technical or operational skills. Partners develop mandates, programs and opportunities with LDF.

Infrastructure means the spaces, industrial equipment, tools, specialist knowledge and production capacity around the work. Mutualisation means sharing those resources rather than each designer carrying a complete studio alone. Continuity of practice means being able to keep developing, making and presenting across collections and projects.

Designers retain their own authorship and creative direction. Access is shaped around the practice, the people required and the resources available.

LDF works from Montréal across studio, partner and event locations. Studio visits are arranged by appointment. Begin with a conversation about your practice, project or organization; the appropriate incubation or production path follows from that context.
