DISCUSS YOUR PROJECT ↗MORE ABOUT THIS ↓01From concept to a resolved product
+
LDF Studio supports independent designers, brands and organizations with fashion and textile product development in Montréal. The work can begin with a concept, existing pattern, prototype or collection needing technical resolution.
Mandates can include research, pattern development, sampling, fittings, corrections and coordination of small production runs. LDF defines the sequence and brings together the specialists needed for the work.
02A precise intervention or a full mandate
+
Some projects need a single technical step; others need development from concept through delivery. Scope follows the garment or product, its complexity, the existing work, the intended quantity and the timeline.
Begin with references, sketches, available patterns or samples and an explanation of the intended outcome. Technical feasibility, production capacity, responsibilities and estimates are assessed before the mandate is confirmed.
03Made through Studio
+
Studio work includes technical product development for ETHNOCARE, collection development and samples for Melissa Pratt, and ongoing small production runs for RACINE. Commissioned work also brings together costume production, image-making and public presentation.
Design authorship stays with the designer or commissioning team. LDF contributes technical knowledge, skilled execution and production coordination.
04Part of the incubator
+
Studio is the making and development side of LIGNES DE FUITE, an independent fashion incubator. Shared resources connect commissioned production with a wider ecosystem of designers, mentoring, public presentations and market connections.
